Independence grows in waves. Quiet weeks still count.

This tool supports awareness, not assessment.

There are no age comparisons, milestone warnings, or expert judgements here. Every child develops at their own pace.

Common Questions

What counts as an "attempt"?

Anything! Reaching for their sleeve, touching a spoon, pointing at a choice — these are all attempts. Success isn't the goal; exploring independence is.

Is my data saved somewhere?

Your data is stored only on your device using your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to our servers, and there's no account needed.

Why is there no scoring?

Independence isn't a competition. Scores and comparisons add pressure where none is needed. This tool is about noticing progress, not measuring it.

My toddler isn't interested in any of these. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Interest in independence comes and goes — some weeks are quiet, others are full of "I do it!" moments. Both are completely normal.
